Mayside Market brings online shopping and point of sale into CUNNTAS, the accounting and business management platform. It gives subscribing businesses a place to present their products, receive orders and manage the information behind each sale. The commerce module is included for CUNNTAS subscribers. An organisation can operate more than one shop, with its own name, logo, product selection and settings for each storefront. Your shop leads with your brand, while a discreet “Powered by CUNNTAS” link identifies the platform behind it.

From Inventory to Online Shopping

Build your product catalogue from the organisation’s Inventory, keeping item codes and product information connected. Show product photographs and descriptions, organise categories and let customers search as they type. Sizes, colours and other options belong within the main product, making it easy to choose the right variant without filling the shop with repeated listings. Customers can add their selections to a basket, review shipping and provide separate billing and delivery addresses.

A Till for the Way You Work

The POS is designed for tablets, touchscreens and desktop use. Staff can find products through the image catalogue or search by name or SKU, switch to the register keypad and keep the current order with them. Use the keypad to set quantities or add a monetary amount for a miscellaneous item. A running receipt shows the order and total, with editable shop details saved for the organisation’s POS. Record cash or externally processed card payments and print a receipt for the customer. Card readers, printers and cash drawers depend on the equipment and provider integration in use.

Your Customers, Across Your Shops

Customer accounts belong to the selling organisation, allowing the same customer to buy from its different shops. Customers can sign in, review their order history, update their details and save delivery addresses, including addresses for gifts or other destinations. Customer authentication uses CUNNTAS’s existing two-factor authentication system. A customer can also become a CUNNTAS subscriber, and a subscriber can connect their customer account to access their purchases through the Customer Dashboard.

Payments to the Merchant

Shop owners use their own payment provider accounts. Mayside Market does not hold customer funds or collect a commission on sales; payment provider charges remain subject to the merchant’s agreement with the provider. PayPal Sandbox checkout is available for development testing. Live payment processing, automatic “Connect with PayPal” and “Connect with Stripe” onboarding, and the completed invoice and Accounting flow are being prepared for launch. Test orders remain separate from business invoices, stock and Accounting.

Optional Printful Fulfilment

A planned Printful connection will give merchants an optional route to print-on-demand products and fulfilment. It is intended to associate the relevant products and variants with Printful, without treating them as locally held stock. Printful will provide its own production and delivery services under its agreement with the merchant. CUNNTAS does not manufacture, store or dispatch the goods. This connection is still in development.

One Workspace for Commerce

The aim is to bring storefront orders, POS sales, customer invoices, Inventory and Accounting together in the organisation’s workspace, with each sale identified by the shop that made it. This gives businesses a connected view of commerce while keeping their organisations’ records separate. Merchants control their product selection, prices, shipping settings and shop policy text, and remain responsible for the accuracy of their listings, legal obligations, fulfilment and customer support.
